Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Starforce removed the ide checks from a version upwards. So you don't have to disable your drives. It was probably the version that introduced the SCSI emulator blacklisting (for some time it worked)
But then daemon tools came to the rescue with a new version, so we're saved again, AND no ide is needed anymore.
BTW, don't flame me to a crisp if I'm mistaken, Starforce is some staraaaange POS

dosn't this game have a singleplayer then ?
always loved the SP part of the game and the thing that you could build your own tracks with ease.
so if its like the other Trackmania games this release isn't useless.....
But hey... you dont have to download it... go to the shot and buy that "not so useless" game then

wow i cant belive is so ease to play backup with this starforce release meabe is a lite edition or they intentionaly want to make like taht ,btw i swear never ever install a starforce game after is driver make me reinstall my pc ,yeah i know now they driver have microsoft signature is a shame because is a good game i wait for a crack, btw the game have a sp mode see the detiails in the info on gamesplanet:

some protection crap, dont know if tages or starforce fucked up my DVD writer... It just refused to write on DVD-RW or even empty them. After new windows install everything works again... hopefully this Starforce is nicer than the older crap...
