My dog likes to pee on peoples Christmas trees. My mom likes to put a nativity scene up and her dog like to steal baby Jesus and hides it under the bed.

I have family I have to buy for and a few friends. I also grab a bunch of nice soaps or something and wrap them up to give if I go to peoples houses for dinners.

@bigperm
My parents are the same way when it comes to gifts. They buy what they want and my dad isn’t into Christmas at all whatsoever. Plus I don’t need anything. (Well external HD and a upgrade) My parents have started to give money instead. They wrap up $100 separately and you open like 15 boxes which is pretty good.

I like waldos idea of a home movie. My dad is happy with some music CD’s I made. Inside gardens are too much work unless that is your thing.

@esel
That is so cute.

Here is a picture of my Love Bird. His name is Little Bird. The other (one not shown) called Big Bird.

Bigperm, do a photoalbum. or a slide show. Or a movie for them.

Take their pictures. narrate their life. put it on dvd. Make it really something.

Or make them a garden. A small indoor garden. Y’know. Buy one of those HUGE tanks. Fill it with dirt. Decorate with things. Plant a lot of flowers. Make it really pretty.

Plant good flowers though. Nothing corny and shitty. Flowers that really look like they’re something.

Y’know. They’ll care for it everyday. And if you decorate with family pictures, or your own pictures, they’ll have a slice of their own son at home with them, and every time they’ll water it, or plant new flowers they’ll think of you. Very Happy

Omg Waldo, your the man. This idea lead me to my gift purchase today.

I picked up a 10.4 LCD digital photo frame. Im going to go through all my parents traveling pictures tonight, and get this bad boy going. The frame was a little more than i wanted to spend, so i think it will be a gift for mom & dad. But i think onnce im done all the picture stuff, it will be a really thoughtfull gift. I might even get creative, this frame plays Divx aswell.

Sad

Just focus on spending time with people that you care about and you'll be fine. Just throw a party. You don't need a fancy dinner. Or gifts. Or anything for that matter. Just friendly people and a friendly atmosphere.

Christmas isn't always about the gifts or the food. It's about seeing people you don't always get to see. Very Happy Smile

Aaaand?

You can give a laptop to a 9 year old and he'll take it apart.
Give a laptop to a 19 year old he'll take you apart saying how shit it is
23-29 same shit
Give a laptop to your parents (ooold peeeple) and they'll donate it to good will the moment you leave. Rolling Eyes They'll say they misplaced it and hope that you did not spend a fortune Rolling Eyes
