There are a lot of noobs, thus it is hard to know if they don't miss something, another one say that Microsoft defender stop the crack process, you may have to disable it.
I don't know why there is still no crack that play with the good old phone (offline) activation, it may be easier that way.

Yes but maybe in a few days the counter will start again like a lot of people were saying.

Hey guys

Just installed vista last night and i used "New Vista RTM Timer Stopper Crack" from the keznews site. So far its been working fine on Ultimate X86. Ive restarted the pc alot of times and pc has been on for about 10hours straight now, and minutes havent counted down

taskeng.exe (task scheduler) at times makes the HDD go crazy which slows alot of things down..

I'm surprised it's not called "kms.local.slim-PhoebeGates" or "kms.local.slim-RoryGates" or "kms.local.slim-JenniferGates" (Melinda and Bill's kids). After that, you'll start seeing releases with names after their house pets. Smile

Can anyone help with a problem I have with the "Timer Stopper Crack" please?

I downloaded and extracted the patch. The 3 files sit in a folder on a network computer.

I changed the BIOS date and reinstalled Vista, I went for the "Business" version (which I heared it works best).

To cut the long story short, everything went fine, " 4 timers stopped" and "Crack was appplied succesfully".

BUT then when I reboot the pc for the last time as soon as it hits the Log-in screen it self-resets giving me a blue screen with no text for a second or two.

ANY help would be appreciated a lot!!!

Thanks all and happy new year!

What version of Vista do you have? x86 or x64? If x64... God help you!

If x86, it's strange, and you are the first to have this from the crack. Perhaps a faulty driver?

Hi mate I've got the 32-bit version on a 64-bit CPU, I don't think it should make a difference...

After 6 installations of vista today I managed to get TWO (2) timers to stop but not all 4. So far I have no crashes or w/e, fingers crossed. Some people had experienced something similar with less than 4 timers being stopped by the crack and their copy of Vista was successfully hacked, so there is still hope for nubs like myself.

So, what's the best way to install and crack Vista now? Does the RC2-thingy still work?

The best way is still the kms server, the image released by "MelindaGates" and with the change that babe_bunny talks about on page 28 of this thread:

Quote:
Right click on "Windows Vista (experimental).vmx" file and open it with Windows Notepad.Type the following in it right at the very top and save the file.

tools.synchronize.continue=FALSE
tools.synchronize.restore=FALSE
tools.synchronize.resume.disk=FALSE
tools.synchronize.shrink=FALSE
rtc.startTime = "1164286430"

This has worked for me on multiple installs, both 32 and 64 bit (business or enterprise only) and has continued to work.

KMS is still the only reliable x64 method, but for x86, the crack is working great (I'm using it for 5 days and have 30 days to activate Very Happy).
