I can't seem to recall the name of an old movie. The plane was about midflight and only one of the passengers noticed one of these little gremlins terrying apart the engine and no one thought anything of it till they landed and saw the engine all torn up.

Everything in the movie was shot for it. It isn't like they used clips from the old show.
(Yes some of the stories were from the old show but all the footage was new).
The interesting thing about that movie is the accident that director John Landis had on the set in which an explosion took out a hovering helicopter and caused it to crash down on some actors. Veteran actor Vic Morrow and the 2 child actors he was carrying were killed.
Sad day in film.
Although John Landis' career was hurt the bastard was allowed to direct again. Years later I worked a little on one of his crappy films with Tom Arnold called "The Stupids". That film alone was punishment, lol.
