I've spent 4+ years keeping this thread updated on another forum, figured I'd bring it over here. Some games people just like playing with a gamepad better.
Games I test are with an xbox360 wired gamepad. Wireless xbox360 gamepads using the receiver don't work in some games for whatever reason.
Also if looking for a game, use ctrl+f to find your game easier

You can get it HERE
You probably need 3 files: xinput1_3.dll xinput1_2.dll and xinput1_1.dll
Just copy xinput1_3.dll from the archive 3 times and change the names.
Copy those files to C:\Windows\system32\
After that the game still tells you to connect Xbox360 controller.
2. Open registry editor (Start button -> Run -> type "regedit")
WARNING: Messing with your registry may crash your system so watch out or give it a rest if you have no ide what you're doing.
Press CTRL+F and search for your gamepad name (name that shows in Contrll Panel -> Controllers window) - "PSX to USB adapter" in my case - at "OEMName" and change it's value to "XBOX 360 Controller for Windows" (export the whole key before).
That's all, co-op works 
Two more things:
- if you get this working game will use controller as a default for first player in solo mode
- if you DO have Xbox360 controller, I wouldn't reccomend this operation cause it coul mess up your controller settings or whatever.
- if you have X360 controller and it douesn't work with game make sure it is recognised as "XBOX 360 Controller for Windows". If it's not you may try doing step to to correct that.
You can copy this instructions wherever you want, just give credits me and Racer_S for his wonderfull emulator. |

If you haven't played Psychonauts try it out. It's a fun console style platformer but it was actually ported properly, very fun with a gamepad or a keyboard.

seems it's already out? might just need to d/l the drivers for it and it might work. I dont know anyone around here that I can borrow their controller to test it.
@ike_pl just the first one, those kinda games annoy me with the shitty aiming system and lack of a decent camera.

Currently playing Top Spin 2, thats not a bad gamepad game.
Basically any sports game is good with a pad.
Phantasy Star Universe is a recentish RPG thats for pads.
Cordless RumblePad 2 linked in 1 of posts above is an awesome piece of machinery btw, 100% recomended.

its not special controler FOR pc, all they do is ship the controllers with drivers. which you can just get off of microsofts page. so any xbox360 controller will work

If memory serves me correctly there was a sex scene/Mini game thing which was cut out.I'm not really 100% sure though so it would be nice if someone could correct me.

That's criminal! Fahrenheit was one of the best adventure games I've ever played - I'm very much looking forward to Quantic Dreams next project: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heavy_Rain
I used a PS2 pad to play Fahrenheit, it's a must due to the games consoley nature.

You still need the receiver for wireless controllers but you can use your wired 360 controllers with your PC if you download the drivers.
