its not special controler FOR pc, all they do is ship the controllers with drivers. which you can just get off of microsofts page. so any xbox360 controller will work

You still need the receiver for wireless controllers but you can use your wired 360 controllers with your PC if you download the drivers.

ya, I just meant in general, theres no difference from the xbox360 pacakged controlers from the PC other than it shipping with drivers.

Logitech® Rumblepad™ 2 Vibration Feedback Gamepad is a good gamepad. I had it for over a few years now and use it all the time to play like madden, nhl, nba, I played farenheit also with it, pretty fun..and you can find that controller for 20 bucks in gamestop/eb games..

All hail multiple posting!

I've read so many negative reviews of Logitech® Rumblepad™ 2 Vibration Feedback Gamepad that I finally decided not to buy it (not as cheap here in IL). Many say that it only lasts for 2-3 months, then one of the sticks (atleast) looses calibration, and the pad has to be opened and the calibration reset manually.

Most pads will work with most games, only exception I've come across is some EA Sports games, some of them didn't used to work with my old el cheapo, but theres a tool in thi thread up a bit that would get round that anyways.

Personally I'd say splash the extra anyways but, it'll last longer and it is a great pad.

This one, as opposed to the previous, is actually important, and there's nothing wrong if more people read it.

The best Hockey game for PC would be any of the EA NHL series, they're all quality and year upon year it is just a slight improvement so which year you get doesn't matter too much Smile
As for boxing games, unsure but none come to mind..

Jets 'n' Guns / Jets 'n' Guns Gold doesn't only support gamepads, I think it's vital to play it with a pad, because the mouse control is rather indirect. Gamepad allows for more accurate and responsive control in the game.
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King supports gamepad too. Playing in coop mode is only possible by / when a gamepad is hooked up to the PC.
Eragon also supports gamepad and coop play.

Thanks for mentioning Riddick btw, I loved that game & will probably try it with my gamepad now.

But then you don't have analog controls (no analog sticks, no analog triggers) which are the number one reason to use a gamepad, so this is useless.

Welll ya you can use a program but then that defeats the purpose of this thread. These are games that work out of the box with pads. Like if I use my 360 pad and it's supported, I get the joy of using my triggers and analogs. Otherwise I might as well just use the keyboard, same effect
