i watched the premiere just to get some chuckles..and i did get some:
-Bauer reluctancy to torture ppl is pretty laughable after 5 butcher-of-the-year awards in a row
-dynasty palmer goes on..what next? the sister for president?
-head of american islamic alliance not speaking a word of arabic and flirting openly with half-naked sis of president. can it be more grotesque?
-CTU full of retards and their moods, as usual. even computers are getting old.
big budget, crap script, bauer looking more and more as an old overacting pig-faced buffoon. yet, it depicts perfectly what shit is going on in typical american rednecks brains, hence the probable success.

24 sucks imo. It's not worth following anyhow, better wait for all episodes to be released. Then maybe watch them while you are sick or something. But hey thats me.

Okay.
First of all anyone expecting ultra realism, don't watch television. Secondly anyone wanting ultra realism, don't watch American television. Ever. Thirdly, 24 is brilliant entertainment and this is a return to form despite one or two niggling aspects.
For starters, stop with the black men in positions of power crap. It's not going to happen in our lifetime. Secondly, please for the love of god hire someone to flesh out the technical mumbo-jumbo because if I hear another pathetic excuse for tech-speak again I will fucking kill myself.
Thirdly, Morris is so damn cool but why did there have to be a lame ass melodramatic and badly fleshed out 'friction' between the stoner type dude 
Fourthly, why the fuck does Curtis suddenly turn into a completely different person with no subtlety. How fucking obvious was that? Gawd.
Fifthly Assad is clearly going to double cross Jack... ffs.
Anyway great season so far

True, but I am going to avoid it. It is not a preview, it's 1/3 of the episode. That's one big spoiler, and there is no point watching it now, then having to wait over a week to finish the episode.
