Wow, slim, you’re making us sound like pigs.
It is hard believing who’s a girl and who’s a girly man. The internet is an infinite space dominated by the male testosterone. We have cultures clashing. We have wife beaters sharing campfire stories to little children who believe that a woman with two bruised eyes has no more opinions left.
We have nazi sympathizers spreading hate for some reason. We have assholes molesting animals, throwing kittens into blenders and making a nutritious meal. We’ve got psychos who cut their peckers with razor blades and post the movie/pictures on the web. It’s hell out there.
And in here, since we’re so diverse in every imaginable way, we share such atrocious acts. We lol at them. We eww at them. And yes, we also  at them.
We, as men, know that this place isn’t friendly enough for women. So when a woman decides to go online we’re shocked. Especially when she decides to come into these niche communities where such unspeakable acts run rampant. Y’know.
It’s not that we don’t believe you’re a girl. It’s that we’re shocked that a girl actually ventured into our corner of the verse. 
We only try to look out for you guys. Y’know. Yes, we may be insensitive by calling you a fag or a whore and tell you to get the fuck out, but it’s for the best. The less you’re exposed to such unscrupulous behaviors the more you’ll think of us. We’ll still be woman-hating pigs who treat every woman as shit, but we wont be woman-hating pigs that treat every woman as shit who happen to look at tub girl and think that she’d be quite hot if it weren’t for the lot of shit squirting out of her ass.

It’s for the best that we act this way. We have our image as woman-hating pigs to uphold. We simply cannot have women label us for what we really are. That’d ruin us! That would simply ruin us!!

I think the best way to tell if someone if pretending to be a female in a forum is if some of their early posts have sexual content aimed towards male members.
It's obvious they're trying to establish their gender with the other members, with a "look at me, i'm a cool horny chick!" attitude. Which no real female would either bother with, or resort to.
I remember a fair while ago one member did exactly that, but left sharpish when members found out it was just some male faggot.

So that means one of two things:
a) You're so at ease with your sexuality, that even though you're acting like a gay, you know you're not and thats all that matters. Of course you're also showing how ostensibly tolerant you are and what a diverse sense of humour you have, which is always a positive thing.
b) You're gay, although you may not know it yet. You could be acting out subconscious fantasies under the facade of a parody, or by acting gay you're trying to prove how unquestionably straight you are though reverse psychology/a double bluff. I mean, if you really were gay but didn't want people to know about it, the last thing you would do is act proper gay, yes?
