The tattoo was modded a bit, mainly because there was too many tiny details on my sketch.
Anyway, I think it turned out for the better, i love the shading and highlights he made. Also, we made the "vines" go over the stars at a few places, looks so much better that way. I´m very satisfied with the result Smile

Miami Ink is entertaining, the girl who works at the studio is just amazing - but its also abit lame that *EVERYONE* who enter has some long story about why they are getting the tattoo Razz

I hate that show, tattoo is supposed to be about the art, these guys are taking their skill and showing off to make even more money. Theres even better artists that should have a tv show...one of the artists Kerry King goes to is amazing. Can't remember the name though.


at any rate, I'd love to have something designed by HR Giger and have it inked on me, that guy's work is amazing.

These are already done pieces of art by giger but amazing none the less

His art is pretty common in tattoos too, my fav one is (tattoo artists that is) Paul Booth. Check him out (he's got his own page). And ofc the guy who makes my tattoos Razz

Yep, it is about art but even art cost money. I don’t think it is wrong to charge money for your liviehood and the better you are at it the more you make. Like a singer usually doesn’t perform for free but he still does it for the music. Then their head sometimes gets too big and their music sucks Razz Giger is suppose to be world famous isn’t he?

Giger is famous, its the guy who designed Alien - but he is painter and not a tattoo artist Smile

Edit: Almost all of Gigers paintings contain sex or nudity..most of it is well hidden Smile
