I am ready to start to learn an Asian language, but I'm yet to decide which one should I learn.
I'm currently trying to decide between Mandarin (chinese), or Japanese.
Mandarin is ranking first in the worldwide language ranking, everywhere you go, there's always someone speaking Mandarin, and one thing I'd like to do, was to start ordering chinese food in Mandarin  
On the other hand the chinese culture means nothing to me, I respect their culture but I don't find it anywhere near intersting, the Japanese culture is very intersting and mystical, even tough their language is ranking 9 in the worldwide language ranking, it's a very beautifull language and I sure love everything about their culture and yes, I follow every Anime show I can get my hands on.
In the future I'll probably learn the other language, but, what language should be more intersting and easy for me to start, Japanese or Mandarin?
btw anyone here speaks one of those languages?

Japanese is very easy to learn I have heard.
Chinese is one of the most difficult ones.
