					| I know it's been up before, but check this one..looks like its in their budget. I'm mostly confused by the name Interplay being mentioned..thought it was Bethseda?

					| Could be an old document. But honestly who cares. We know Bethesda is about to royally fuck fallout up the ass, and the world doesn't need another generic copycat MMORPG.

					| I don't agree. I look forward to both fallout 3 (cos I belive they can do it) and if this document is true - I look forward to an mmorpg version too.
If the document is old or not I do not know, but I found the url on a swedish site today.

I can agree with you but also realize, most of your favorite games were inspired by another. Most mmorpg's are pretty much copies of each other but set in different moods and worlds, that's why some look forward to it. We wouldnt have alot of games if it were for copying others.

					| For me Fallout 1 & 2 and even in a sense Fallout Tactics are some of the best games of all time.
I really liked Morrowind as well and spent a shitload of hours on it. Oblivion however.. meh.

I hope that Bethesda stays true to the Fallout series in Fallout 3 and dont fuck it up by making it mainstream-friendly.

As for the possibility of a MMOG, i just say good luck. Fallout has, just as Warcraft had, a great story and world to fall back on and if the developer realise this and use it to its full extent i dont see why a Fallout MMOG wouldnt succeed.

					| bethesda did a pretty good job on call of the cthulhu, though the part trying to escape from those guys was ridiculous. Im pretty sure every company has had their share of failures so if they DO make it, hey, at least they'll learn and make up for it. So far bethesda hasn't really messed a game up yet. | |

Well, yes, I have to agree with that, as I have played my share of MMOs too. It usually starts with "this looks new and interesting", then after a while you realize it's the same shit as every other MMO.

					| fallout mmo is to be relased Q3 2010 by interplay. Sad to see that they have changed the story "The Fallout MMOG will be developed in the highly recognized Fallout post Nuclear Apocalyptic world giving consumers an ongoing virtual experience of today's life as if the cold war, which lasted for the best part of the second half of last century, had led to a nuclear disaster." No more 2077 US vs China. I have much more faith in bethesdas fallout 3 than this crap.

					| I just hope Bethesda manages to recreate the setting, humor, the cool gadgets like the pipboy and the like. IMO stuff like that is what makes Fallout what it is.

Of course it doesn't exactly follow the book, but I wouldn't call it a spin-off. More like a failed attempt of transscribing the story from one medium to another.
