It eats those for dinner.

Well if im reading it right, these have a 12ms response time. yuk

And the dells have a 6ms response time.

TV Topic

Personaly i bought a Sony Grad Wega SXRD 50 inch TV.

I couldnt find a LCD pannel or Plasma (IMO Plasmas suck, but they are getting better) that came close to the picture quality of the Sony SXRD series. Even the XBR1 are far nicer picture than any LCD pannel or plasma. I picked up mine with the stand onsale for $2500. 2ms response time, true blacks, amazing picture etc.

Eh I purchased the Dell 30" and I LOVE IT! Running all my games on 2560x1600 is beautiful.. I tried setting the resolution to get a general idea of what a 1080p 30" TV would look like, and it didn't look that great.

However when you bump it up to 2560x1600 it looks gorgeous!

Yes, thats because the native resolution is different.

Also, the 12ms response is completely unnoticeable. You need to understand the mechanics behind size/vs response time as well as what the eye can perceive and how that changes with size. Paying for a 6ms response time is like paying for an undercoating on your cars paintjob, unnecessary but the mechanic wants you to buy it.
