Same here, but those gameplay trailers suggest that youd get to see individual planes/boats. I must be missing something. Just spend 10min looking at a map "ordering troops" and some japanise shouting was all I got. Waiting TDU (refreshing fileplanet frontpage) for 3 days was more exciting :/

Yes I pressed the tab and the map was all I got. Without the tab I could only see airfield (empty) and shipyard (empty), camera was unmovable. On airfield carrier it was more exciting, you could atleast shoot and zoom.

Press shift Onboard. That will give you a set of three boxes. Click a box and choose your weapon loadout. Press shift and hold down again for secondary weapons. Press q and e for different units.

I cant believe how craptastic the pc-demo was compared to the xbox 360 demo. Talk about dumbing down a game, yet on the 360 it feels way more advanced than it does here, dunno why it just feels better in every way.
Shit. Another 60€ to spend
Someone will prolly flame me for being a "n00bi console kiddie stupid ass get new hardware". Go ahead.
It feels like Just Cause all over again. The graphics, the controls, the entire feel of the game. On pc, craptastic. On the 360, wonderful.
Same with Test Drive, what the heck is going on here?
Bah, its good that some pure pc games are coming out, COMPLETELY optimized for the pc (not talking graphics, im talking controls and gameplay), like Supreme Commander and Crysis.
Command & Conquer 3 BETTER NOT be like that, since its also coming to the 360. It better fucking not be crappy on the PC cuz i aint playing another RTS on a console..
Same goes for Shadowrun, it better not be the same old converted Crap-on-pc, all-the-good-stuff-on-the-console.

kick ass demo..
some controls for those of you who are having issues figuring out how to play.
When you start you will see a empty (something) Airfield, shipyard or carrier?
press and hold shift to choose what you want to start launching from the base, select the units and click launch.
from there on you can press E to switch between controls of the different units. while you are on a unit controlling it press shift to switch the type of weapon you are controlling.
you can also give orders, while your flying or driving something hover over the target and press right mouse button to highlight it.. then hold alt and issue orders.
Hope this helps, have fun. Kick ass demo D:

Baleur,
What portion of the controls are you not liking? I'm not having any problems, tho the controls are a little different then what im use to. Once you get use to that, it's a very fun game.

Add GRAW to that list. |
Can you please tell me why? In which points is the 360 version of GRAW better than the PC version? I'm asking because I did not play it yet and I will probably only play one version. In reviews (online and offline) the PC version got good ratings, some even said it's better than the 360 version. For example the gamespot review says:
Quote: | While the PC version of GRAW offers the most impressive and expansive campaign[...] |
Quote: | Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter finally makes its way over to the PC, and as far as the single-player game goes, this version of the game might be the most overall impressive of all. The massive urban areas you fight in are even larger and more detailed than the already spacious areas in the Xbox 360 version of the game, adding a great deal of tension since this added landmass makes for many times more possible hiding places for bad guys. Also, there's more interactivity to the world and flexibility with the tactical map, which gives you more precise control over your teammates.[...] |
Of course it's Gamespot and as usual they might be talking shit.

Is there a way to delete some unneeded files to make it fit on one DVD5?
Else it only fits on two DVD5 or one DVD9. DVD9's are still quite expensive.
