@twoism

If you had given FFXII a little more time, I think you would like it.. That said, I can understand people not liking it.

I just hope the combat in Rogue Galaxy doesn't get too repetative.

Shame this is dual layer as it leaves us swap magic PAL users out in the cold until the PAL release comes out much later this year Sad

I'm hoping here for a single layer rip. But I think due to the nature of how the game works, streaming the whole game world with no loading, that it might not be possible to get it working right if it's ripped. But i don't really know enough about these things.

They may possibly do a 2 dvd rip, with the 2nd dvd used at a certain loading point - although these type of rips have been crap in the past. Never working properly.

if its dual layer then i will have to buy it, no dual layer game has everworked on my modded ps2, despite the patches

I have seen mention that this release is misisng movies and voices. Shame that as, as a PAL user I have a long wait for the offical release. Can't see the point in playing a story driven game with no voices or movies. The orginal IS a DVD9. I wonder why the nfo doesn't say what's missing?

Personally I think the ripping of movies is a good thing - As long of course that they are not essential to the game then good bloody riddance to them.. I never watch intro's or in game movies I can skip. Its never stopped me finishing a game yet

That's you then. Personally, I like complete full game released to be, you know, complete. I too think its a fake or incomplete, but I am still downloading (its small enough to be a small hazard for me.)
