Will you be able to load your profile from the beta to the retail version ? Anyone know anything of that... not much fun spending alot of time in beta and you cant load all stuff you bought etc.. would be nice if this could be done.

Why can't I log in to the multi player servers? Are they down or something?
The games just freezes when I'm trying to get online and afterwards there's an error message that tells me that a connection to the game server could not be established.
Anyone else is getting this problem?

Only Dual Core owners have so far been able to say "game runs great". Any of us on single-core's are biting our asses off on exterior or cockpit views. Only front bumper works at a decent (35-45 FPS) framerate for me.

Oh yeah, you are right!
I've seen somewhere else that an xbox user opened ports 88 and 3072. So I opened these and things went much better - I could get in the game and look for games and people but then the game just got stuck in the "connecting" process when I tried to get into an online race :/
Maybe it was just a bug, I will try again later.

my gfx card gets all fucked in this game aswell with artifacts.
it starts at the games main menu when i first start it.
i found a way to fix tho, when the game loads my profile, i alt tab out.
tab back in and say continue, or whatever so it launches my game into online world.
when it begins to load the game, i alt tab out again and come back in.
after this i don't get any artifacts. but if i don't do the alt tab out thing.
my screen would be totally messed up or black, i would hear game sounds but see nothing.

Well I've got a reboot too while browsing the map....
After playing for about an hour I can say the game is not fun...
It just lacks the fun factor all NFS games have (yeah yeah, go on and flame about nfs being complete arcade crap)...
I don't understand the idea behind TDU: it is not an arcade game, cause the pace is too slow, you feel like driving a tank...Also it doesn't try to be a simulation, because there is no damage and handling is far far from being realistic...
I've tried only 1 car so far, and it's the alfa gt, but it's 3.2 v6 engine sound is ridiculous, sounds like some 1.3 honda civic...
BTW I play with driving aid off and with a joystic...
And it runs really smooth 1280x1024 4xaa, 8xaf on x800gto, a64 3200 and 1 gig of ram (everything o/c 30-50% )
Screw you guys. I'm going home.

Those are the ports. If you have an X360, that is.
The correct PC ports taken straight from the BETA forum are 8889, 9961 and 17475.

Yeah same here. Every few times when I start the game gfx is all fucked and full of artifacts. Alt tab fixes it.
I love the game, I already spent around 20 hours in it. Sometimes I just sit in my Enzo and drive around exploring gorgeous Oahu island for hours while listening to my mp3s. Big fun.
I wish handling was better

I've discovered 93% of the roads and I'm 7% away from the Explorer accomplisment, hopefully that will take me to champion rank. There are so many useless, pointless roads that take you to the same place. I've driven about 400 miles with my Mclaren just exploring the roads and there are a SHIT LOAD of them that I never even drove through.

No dual core here and the game runs fine on high and 1280x 1024!

Ok I finally drove through all the roads and got the Explorer achievement. They reward you with the most expensive house in the game for getting 100% road completion.

was reading the beta forums that needs the password to get in ... and well there are 4 bugs in this game :
1.Problems with dual core processors that gives some gfx corruption when you are driving and when the map is loading
posted solution : Turn only one core - Now this is fucking lame
2.gfx corruption on some newer Ati models , posted solution : wait for new ati drivers - another lame solution
3.Some people reported that the Mp3 music isn`t working , posted solution : Install WMP 11 {didn`t work for me another crapy help}
4.{Some called it a bug} Missing multiplayer interference , some say its all there but its hard to figure it out

Anyone going for retail? Seeing as you've played it pretty much through already, can't be much fun doing it all over again. Still on my first car and only F races compleated. Pondering should I play more, or leave something for finished one.

Definently not, this beta basically allows people to run the game dry. They SHOULD have removed a ton of features to keep the game fresh and for the sake of peoples post beta interests. After I get the hardcore mode, Done.
/EDIT: I just got a "This License will expire in 3 days" Notice when I lauched the beta. It's about time since most everybody accomplished what they wanted in game.
