ya i went and spent my game money on a logitech g3 mouse.
my old mx510 is to old and the teflon feet are worn way to much.
i was really hyped on this game but i don't think it will be worth buying to play online for some reason.
i think it's because the car handling ruins the whole game.
if the cars felt just like GTR2 when driving the game would be way better.

I dunno if anyones noticed but um, every Test Drive games handling has been the same!?
But yeah it's not just the handling that kills it its a lot of stuff. Asking for GTR2 physics is sorta extreme but that game has its physics flaws too especially with its slip curves.

Agree you there, even online the online part seems non excistant. When I'm online I'm driving SP missions (those blue ones) got bored people not accepting instant challenges, or challenging my audi tt with ferraris (like I'm gona). Tried to go to those orange ones, but they are weird, nothing happens in them and I don't want to start waiting for people to come in or better yet make a challenge? Though they were like "2 or more poeple drive in to the orange thingyes and the race starts" but no :/
And agree even more, car handling is too easy. Havent tried any faster ones, but I can top Audis 250km/h on any road.. If they limit the money making, fix the lag issues and I can figure out that online part I could spend the money, not like there's anything better out (not including simulations, I want fun, not setup 1h drive 10min). If the beta is time limited and there is only 3 days left, then I'd better start driving  But I've only started it 3 times, so maybe it's some playtime limited.
Hypersport & no driving aids would be just about right, lose the sport & driving aid mode and some peeps could actually lose control  Really should head to beta forums before it's too late to succest any improvement, but not today

I think they should make it readily apparant to your rivals whether your using any aids or not. Some moron in a S7 races against my Mclaren and declares himself King because he launches without a trace of wheels spin while I'm gunning it next to him swinging from lane to lane up to 4th gear trying to keep the car straight while it spins the wheels.
I don't even bother racing people until I ask them...Aids? If they say yes I say bye! Try driving an A class car tuned to stage 3 on any of the twisties up in the mountains and you will understand.
Oh yeah and handling is easy when your doing 250km/h wait until you get past 400km/h or something like 265+mph and then keeping the car on the road becomes very difficult. Besides that there are few places that allow you to keep the car at that speed for too long so yeah.
I'm also pretty angry about the way the online thing works. People come and go appear and vanish from seperate instances at times and its very irritating. Sometimes you can't physically see someone unless you linger around their location forever.
I already gave my review on this game but the TDU cocksuckers rejected it, I'm just putting my $6 to use at this point. It's taking forever to jump from Expert or whatever to Champ.
/EDIT: oh yeah those races you were mentioning, those are the online race matchups which are non-existant as of now. Most people go for quick challenges instead since setting up a race with 8 people is near impossible.
Do the car delivery missions, get your cash up with your rank and SP races offering more money easier and faster become available. From there your basically done with the game, buy a house whoo hoo race cars you've raced plenty of times etc.

Well, it's pretty bug free right now, so it's got to be almost ready to ship. With a few optimizations, and I'm buying it, and the last driving game I bought was NFS4. This game is just amazing.

Unfortunately there is a major bug causing the game to crash every 15 min! And it's not only me having this BIG problem! I would consider to buy this game too, it is very cool! But i will check out the pirated version first in order to see whether this bug still exists or not!

Some of you guys are getting raped by bugs, who knows if its your hardware to blame or the game.

eh.. the game is cool. But no its not bugfree, no the handling is not great. So lets hope for a better retail. Will try it some more tomorrow tho. Im not even going to try the bike... -.-
