Just use the knife... left shift+enter. (as default)
And yes you meet a guy that sell stuff.
But if you check around all the places, and shoot the zombies in the head you wont run out of ammo so fast.

running out of ammo is what makes this game great tbh... nothing better than being chased by 100 zombies and a crazy guy with a chainsaw, lolz.

you cant strafe in re, not even in ps2 or gamecube.

Yes you cant strafe or even move while shooting, just like in dead rising. And not having a mouse makes it damn hard.

This is a classic port, good game and shitty controls
I'm going to reconf my wingman again to get a better feel for the game
Being a PC gamer I'm not use to getting my ass handed to me by zombies
Just haveing mouse support for shooting would have been great

These were the design points of this game:
Make the controls horrid.
Make graphics so bad you can't see enemies too clearly.
Make the controls horrid.
Disable basic movements, like strafe.
Make the controls horrid.
Disable mouse support.
And to top it off, make controls horrid.
That's what I felt after testing it for 10 mins. It was a scary game, not story-wise or gameplay-wise, nothing like that... IT'S SCARY HOW BAD THIS GAME IS!

Well they didnt make or change anything and thats the problem. The strafe or movement while shooting was never in the game, ps2 or GC. It'd be so nice with a mouse, now i take several hits before hitting something, and headshots are freaking next to imposible with that horrible controls.

on ps2 it was amazing this port is real crappy trust me the ps2 has amazing graphics i wonder who coded this .. some amateur taiwan kids on their spare time or what.. a serious company would not release this crap even in china/taiwan.

With the mouse there would be headshots ONLY as the enemies are rather slow. They'd have to tweak or rewrite the AI to make them move faster, strafe, duck etc. just like in a shooter and that'd mean months of programming, testing, and... well.. almost changing the concept of the game.

Heh, months as in addition to the more than a year(maybe two) the port was in development for? According to gamespot, it was confirmed as coming to pc last feb. Usually that means that a game was in development for much longer, as not to build hype for a product yrs away from release. So yeah, to me anyways it is pretty unforgivable to port a product and not even give the option to use native controls for that platform. And tweaking code to make the gameplay acceptable with that new control scheme is Supposedly part of the porting process. Even with halo being the crap port it was(graphically), the control scheme was acceptable as a pc shooter. Same goes with most other ports. At the very least the controls were made to work. Seriously I have no idea who will buy this POS in stores, and capcom/ubi just threw away money at a half-hearted and foolish effort.

Yeah so what if its gonna be headshots only, later on the enemies become faster and stronger, its not always those slow villagers. Its freaking shooter on pc, not having a mouse sucks, especially if you dont have a joystick.
