i used to download at a minimum of 700-900 KB/s from easynews , but the past months is averaging around 200-300 KB/s .... no clue why . I selected probably every possible backbone to go through , same result , when tracing it seems my own ISP gives the most packet loss for some reason . Quite odd since there are dutch servers i can download from at 2000KB/s easy ( my location is belgium ) , just to say my connection itself seems fine from here . anyone got an idea whats causing it ?

but otherwise max speed i've got for download is around 93mb/s (1gbit box) from a fast server

4-5mb/s the time i tested newsgroup, went back to dc though since its faster and better.

3-4 mb if I use Blueyonder
1-2.5 if I use Giga..
So better speed with Yonder, but MUCH better retention and 100% posts with Giga

93 mb unreal i live in nz and we have 6 mbits at the max it is like im dying lol but they are having fiber introduced this year so im looking forward to that
