I don't play with a keyboard i play with a Logitech Rumblepad and it's very enjoyable.
And RE4 is not supposed to be a "shooter"

FEAR was OK, but not really scary. It just had an interesting story. Condamned was freaking SCARY!

FEAR and Condemned fill each other's blanks out. They are both great,scary,impressive games by the same people (Monolith) on the same game engine.
On-topic: I want to track these chinese or japanese or whatever sourcenext lusers down and crush their bones. Then I will suck their blood and rape their corpses.

got a question.. just started playing and cant seem to combine 9mm ammo
with the 9mm handgun..
here's what i tried :
pressed enter on ammo
pressed enter on combine
pressed enter on handgun..
i just get a sound and nothing happened..
what are the keys for combining ammo with the gun ?

You dont need to combine it, to reload just press the aim button+reload button. It takes up the correct ammo automaticly. ANd to look for the assignied keys just start up RE and click on SETUP.

I know, Fear was great, but not as scary as people said it was. I mean you can find a corner and kill them all. You can't to that in Condemned. You have to face your fears!

A simple way to enjoy this is go to RadioShack get a PS2 to PC adapter.
Plug your PS2 controller into the adpater, adapter to USB slot map out the control scheme from the original PS2 title and you get the same experience as the PS2 version minus the obvious bullshit.

Oh yeah, condemned is scary like hell. More scary then AVP and Silent Hill together.
Really a great game!

Oh, and what fears are those... Insanies running and screaming with a 2x4 or a pipe in their hands... And the sound of a pipe hitting a scull...  Nothing tops that! |

Condemned was an awsome game period. Not exactly foreveryone because it's a difficult game to just jump into but once you get going you can't stop.
Hobo's with pipes grunting screaming and running at you from all directions is loads of fun, + the game had excellent physical combat mechanics, probably one of the best of any FPS.

Ok ive got a question who ever beat the game before, or at least knows. As you know you can find shit load of treasure throughout the land, and you can also combine some of them, like inserting gemstones into allocated slots. So is it worth putting all of them into things, or should you just sell all of it as soon as you find it? So what if you do put all of them together, will you get some special prize or something else happens?
So if any one knows, please reply.

After reinstalling this game on my working drive lol
I have given this game more of a chance and have to say I'm really liking it
graphically the cutscenes are shitty unforetunately however the in game graphics are just fine,and even better they run smooth as hell.
in regards to all this debate about mouse, gamepad etc...
yes using the mouse would have made it much easier...too easy infact i feel.
the point of this game is to size up your enemy and attack with a plan and hopefully BEFORE they are right on top of you.that is part of the gameplay not really a flaw IMHO
as to "why should i buy a gamepad?"
it is simple if you want to play games that are designed for em ...BUY ONE.
saying but it should work with my PC as equipped...bollocks, that's like saying you expect to hear great music playback in 5.1 thru you onboard PC speaker...
while the frustration factor was high at first, this game is actually fun to play,something i haven't run across in a long while
