100% sure?
And would the picture still be better than with the Advance Scart cable?
Is it like Component HD AV Cable or worse?

Definetly fine, it'll work. Just add the adapter to the end of the VGA cable and then plug it into
the DVI slot on the TV, and the other end into the Xbox 360.

Quote: | Is it like Component HD AV Cable or worse? | Depends, if you're TV is an analog TV then either way you're having to convert back to analog to display it on the TV, so it won't matter. However if you have a Digital TV, then VGA is arguably better due to a few reasons (such as uncompressed pure RGB signal on VGA).

Well, my TV is Philips 26PF3320.
Is it analog or digital? And if it's analog, then what? Still just plug the same adapter into in and I got same picture like Component HD AV Cable?

Actually, silly me, it has to be digital if it has a DVI port *me slaps his forehead*
The only downfall of using the setup you want to use is that you'll be degrading the video from digital to analog because your TV is digital and the VGA cable is analog. The picture will however be perfectly fine and very high quality, wouldn't worry about it. Also, after checking the resolution for your TV, you'd be able to have 720p through the VGA cable due to the resonably high resolution of your TV (you'll not be able to have 1080i/p though).

VGA (D-SUB) and DVI are completely different but theoretically a DVI port can accept an analog signal if the TV or monitor SUPPORTS IT.
Scart cable is standard definition 720x576 (or actually 640x480 for xbox games) and xbox games in High Definition 720p are 1280x720.
