Most similar to Reg's situation really.
Infact if I was to ever bump into her I wouldn't even call her mother I would call her Mary. For I don't consider her my mother. I certainly wouldn't let my two kids refer to her as grandmother or nana either. She once threatened to take me to court a few years back for visitation rights to my daughter, this was before my son was born. She wasn't interested in her, but it was a ploy to get back at me. If she had won that case I would have left the country for good. |

Yeah... But what are the roots of the situation...
Like when all this began and why?
I'm interested because recently I have big problems with my mom either, and wonder whether it can develop to the same case.

Er well she never liked my husband. So she went apeshit when he picked me up on xmas day. My hubby threw my mothers husband over the bonnet of the car and cut his arm so bad it needed 40 plus stitches. Not spoken to her since that day, I was 18. The day I left home.
