Was music mediocre too? While i can agree that the plot and whatever wasnt that great, its the music that made the movie great. That and jack black's performance is always over the top.

Actually music was good. But everything else, I personally, found to be crap. It wasn't really funny, and the whole demon shit was stupid. If they had done that the Pick was nothing actually, and it's skill and mentality that mattered, I think this movie would have been better.

the plot doens't even matter in this movie, it's a movie about music, and pretty good one.
I didn't knew that Tenacious D was really a band from Jack Black.
he should make more movies like these, that's what he has talent for, not crappy King Kong movies.
the 2 best perfomances as an actor from Jack Black that I've seen, were School of Rock and this Tenacious D.
