I used an unique email address when registering on this site,
I've NEVER used this e-mail anywhere else.
Now in the last 2 weeks I've received some spam mails on this account.
So now my question is if there is/was some leak of the email database?

Use a random email when signing up for forums, or even better: 10minutemail.com (of course you're fucked if you forget your password, but that's not an issue here  )

Now thats just damn below the waist-line. We will not, ever sell or give away any personal information gathered through registration or any other means.
Lizard, the only way you could have gotten spam on that e-mail addy is through the board's public profile. There are numerous bots sniffing the net, they must have picked up your scent. I suggest you go and set 'Always show my e-mail address' to 'No' under Your Profile (http://www.nfohump.com/forum/profile.php?mode=editprofile).

Always show my e-mail address: so having that set to no should prevent it right?
@peecee gamer (dunno if he's still around) the nforce spyware cookie is nothing more than a cookie that holds your logon info so when you come back here your still logged in.
