Durin the installation of Arcanum, I get that setup can't find following files: Vormantown.dat and arcanum.dat. I know that the disc contains them because I've checked. When I try to run the game I can see loading screen only for a less then a second. After that I see desktop again. Can this problem be solved somehow?
I may well be wrong but ive got a feeling this game, once you go to uninstall it - actually messes up your windows installation and the only way to fix it is a complete reinstall of your O.S - but of course i may be thinking of another game.. be careful
As to your problem. have you tried copying the files to your HD first and running the install from there?
