The landig.asx page just says, that the suscription for the beta is closed Sad

Here's how to get around the protection:

1. Set your date in Windows to January 30, 2007
2. Reboot (very important, won't work without it)
3. Create a new useraccount in Windows with admin rights
4. Log off your regular account
5. Log on with the new account you just created
6. Run the game!

You won't have a desktop icon with the new account, this can be solved by putting a shortcut in c:\documents and settings\All users\Desktop\

Once the account no longer works, just delete it (and let Windows delete all it's files too), then create a new one using the above instructions Laughing

Edit: You will need to copy your savegames too from your regular account to the new one (Just copy the complete Test Drive Unlimited folder in My Documents).

Guys, if u still cant play the beta then maybe this helps.. it helped me!!! Very Happy

I allways got the date expired error and finally figored it out what the problem was... i seemed to install windows xp just last week after beta was closed... so i think it reads when was the windows installed and then the date and makes some conclusions... anyway i went to BIOS and set the date in early January 2007 (10th to be exact) then reinstalled windows xp with that date and when i installed all drivers and the game.. it all worked Very Happy didnt even have to change the date to 29th january or smth.. Hope this helpes... i have so much free time so i just went ahead and tried windows reinstall lol... format and install i mean. Luckyly i have three partitions

Shit, Im getting a Vista Ultimate in a few days, so see what it says about the time crap...

Why the hell didnt they put Pedestrians ingame, and people could get out of their cars if they die they spawn at their closest house...Wanna run some people over Very Happy...
Owyeh, thinking of Carmageddon, damnit they should release a newer version...Soon...

yes it does work, but ive played a while, next time i started, ill get "There's a newer version of TestDrive unlimited available" You must download this to play online and when i click on YES it will open the testdrive unlimited HOMPEPAGE :S Razz
