I'm gonna play through C&C First Decade (at least the C&C games, maybe RA, but I'll skip the horrible and utterly crappy Renegade and Generals) before C&C3 comes out

Well, good for you that you liked it. The storyline had nothing to do with either C&C or Red Alert, and the formula of the game deviates further than the moon from the previous games, not to mention the single player campaign is subpar at best.

QFT
+ its the first original fps |
I agree 100%, I loved Renegade, I was part of the multiplayer beta test and thought it was one of the greatest ideas ever conceived. The only issue was the game limitless number of bugs ! Still, didn't stop me from playing through the single player missions! Seeing the C&C world from that angle was fantastic fun!
As for the demo, I have it reserved on file planet and its still telling me the 23rd? |
Ya I agree, but something just made me stop playing the game, I think it was teh story I can't remember. I was really hoping for starcraft ghost.
also, you should give me your FP login so I can download it

I played Renegade in multiplayer for a year or so, it was one of the greatest fps experiences I have had! Though EA ruined the single player portion with "cartoonish" graphics. A former employee of westwood said they wanted to go with a more "realistic" look instead.

Which in turn is the Generals engine, lol. But I think it does support SM3.0.

Heavily modified SAGE engine. Not the same revision as BFME2 I bet.

System requirements listed in the latest pc gamer are as follows.
Min: P4 1.8GHz, 512MB RAM, 8GB HD space, DX9.0c 64MB graphic card with 8X DVD ROM.
Recommended: P4 @2.4GHz or equivalent, 1GB RAM, 128 MB video card.
C&C3 Uses a modified version of the C&C Generals Engine so should fair very well on older hardware, people with modern machines should be able to play C&C3 with all bells and whistles enabled at high resolutions.
