I've noticed myself trying out some newer games, but when it gets to finish loading, it just sticks at the loading screen, but the game should be going. For instance - Company of heroes, the loading bar finishes and I hear the game going, I click around and hear units respond, but all I see is the load screen.
I try then alt-tabbing and tab back into a black screen but no game... of course, could this have to do with a vista installation? I do have vista installed.
Opteron 4200+
2GB ram
Asus A8n32-SLI deluxe
Geforce 7800GT
anyone heard of anything like this? Of course I'm tech savvy, and have tried new drivers, and whatnot.

The only advice i can give you is to stick or roll back to the nvidia drivers coming installed with vista, they are the only ones not returning errors so far (w/ 7900 gt), i had trouble with the latest betas in different apps or games, either with DirectX or openGL.

Just clicking roll back will do this? Or will it return them to just the previous ones and I have to do it several times.
