I hope that someday you grow to realize that life is much more complicated than that. And for an attention whore it will be much more difficult if he or she would believe that there will awlays be someone to pat him/her on the shoulder, to hug and kiss on the cheek, to wipe his ass. Also kids are quick learners and before you know it they'll be manipulating you like they want.

I didn't say it wasn't, and I didn't say people should be fed things with a silver spoon. I'm just against child abuse - speaking in general, not necessarily implicating it was you. I just thought it was a strange way of saying it. |

hitting your child isnt child abuse. if you do it hard then it is. thats the problem with society today. they think touching a child with one finger will traumatize him for the rest of his life |

Depends where you live, and what kind of laws you got. Common sense? Well, maybe. In Norway the law is very clear that you can't hurt your kid to give him an lesson. The law is different in for example UK.

Well obviously we're talking about a bit stronger stuff than just touching your child with a finger. |
