Wouldn't this be far better on the PC, when does the PC version come out?

I can't imagine playing a battlefield style game on the Xbox.

Goddamnit, I couldn't get this to run off a burned DVD, wasted 3 CDs trying crap (patching this and that Sad).

Finally trans'd it over to my Xbox HD and it ran fine from there... Wanted it to run off a DVD though. Sad

Why would you want to run it from DVD? You get much faster loading times from the HD.

I don't have a bigger HD in my Xbox, just the one that came with it.

Is the PAL Unisgned release on the main site working fine for you guys?

I've copied to HD but can only play instant action. The other two single player modes freeze the game on the menus and none of the tutorials work. I think it must have something to do with the movie files, even though I know there are lots of reasonable movie files in the game directory, they just don't seem to play.

The trailer for republic commandos is fine, but nothing else.

I'm assuming that there should be intro for campaign missions and the tutorials should work?

Have noticed that more recent RIOT release is about 300mb larger than this one so wondered if the lack of functionality is down to this, even though the .nfo file says nothing has been ripped from this one.

Running PAL machine, Xenium and UnleashX.

Its a strange one, any ideas?

You could run phoenix bios loader to load the newest xecuter 2 bios (and so allowing you to play this star wars game), it's a program that acts like a mod-chip, but you need some way of getting it on your xbox and booting it (you can do this because you have a mod-chip)
So people with older chips can stille use the functions of the newer bioses. You should check www.xbox-scene.com for a more detailed explanation.
