Why do I have 2 Je in Pacsteam
One ready to play
One already predownloaded but unreleased
The ready to play version goes to the intro screen and crashes back into desktop.
After pre-load finished y was there no validation

With ATI cards soft shadows and AA dont work together as they corrupt the screen - so switch off soft shadows...

About AA on ATI cards! Open the JadeEmpire.ini and set AllowAtiFSAA=to 1!! and FSAA=3! Then you'll have 6xAA! But dont turn on SoftShadows when you have AA on!

 Spoiler: | yah there is a drunken brawler style, you get it in chpt 2 at the shadow forest quest, talk to the cook, kill the cannibals and he'll join u as follower, with him as support he'll drop wine and if you pick it up u can use it |

cool, although i never had this problem since im not usin ati, but i was wondering can anything else be done in the ini files? i took a look at them and i wanted to know if any of these can be altered to make the game look and play better.

I must say, I didn't like the game the first 20 minutes, too much talking for my taste, but after that it just took right off. Am now in chapter 3 arena champion and it just keeps me glued to the keyboard.
I am sad that I can't experience all the fighting styles I learnt though, once you focus skillpoints on 2 or 3 styles you don't need any other skills.

Yep, I was running fraps when I played and I noticed the game capped at 30 fps. Lots of games cap the frame rate.. to the dismay of the typical first person shooter players who won't be satisfied without a constant 99+ fps.

Correction. Lots of console->pc ports are capped at 30 fps.

does anyone else have a huge performance problem? I have a opteron 170, 2 gigs of ram, and a 7800 gtx 512 but no matter what settings i enable i get like 4 frames a second! Im also running vista. Does anyone else have this issue?

I have an nvidia, I´m using Vista, my system is way worse than tskiller, and it runs fine everything maxed no AA.

I have the strange problem that after the training fight right at the beginning, I am supposed to be able to walk around freely but can only look at the ground. I am able to walk around but can't see where I am moving to. When moving the mouse around, I see nothing but the ground.
Anyone have an idea what that might be? I disconnected my steering wheel but that was not the problem.
