Well in the last 2 years I havent played PC games much , I was mostly on consoles , my rig is getting old , (AMD 64 3000 , 1 gb of RAM , 6800LE) ..wil I get any improvments in performance in games like CALL OF JURAEZ ,TITAN QUEST , OBLIVION if I put another 1 gb of RAM , is it worth it?

2 gigs is always worth it, The higher your settings the more memory it's gunna use. I put fear on max everything and used 1.2 something gigs 0.0 if your game isnt using the full 2 gigs then get another gig just to have that extra just in case. Games generaly use 600+ memory not including what you have running in the background so if the g ame sees you have more memory it'll use more accordingly.

High end systems benefit depending on the game. But in your case, I wouldn't bother. Your video card is holding your system back a lot more than "only" having 1gb of ram.

the new BF2 mods like Project Reality feature more detailed maps than vanilla BF2 and therefore like the RAM a lot Wink
