now they add bakcup programan in the release !!! :
The most important innovation of StarForce 4.7 is the option of back-up copy for end-users. This technology allows end-users to make one or several copies of protected applications depending on the policy determined by publishers.

I can't see it making any difference. I would envision that the copying program would be hacked and that will be used to make the back ups. But I think the amount of companies that have ditched starforce will continue to rise.

read from one russian forum:
backup allows to play without disk inserted to keep original media in safe conditions
no disk = no disk check = no drivers
possible to play on 2 various computers
possible to deactivate license, change hardware, activate programm with out asking publisher for new key
For me the main things are:
- original media is safe
- no disk insertion
- no drivers
in general this means much less headache

Google and download latest daemon tools from the official page
Then go to http://www.duplexsecure.com/home and download and install latest SPTD
Lastly mount the image files you have with daemon tools

Oops, you are probably fooked. Make sure you don't have Blindwrite installed. Also, make sure RMPS emulation is on and Ignore Media type off.

) some russian titles with that version of starforce ? ( cd and dvd versions ). Mabye a release of 1C but i can't find one with that version. Downloading now Sparta: Ancient Wars, russian version, giving it another try.
