My Nod32 (ESET.NOD32.v2.70.23.WinNT2K2K3XP.Cracked-FYN) has stoped updating the virus signatures. It stopped at 20070305 (virus signature: 2096). When I click "Update now" a window comes up and wants me to enter username and password.

Anyone else with this problem?

kosmiq: Are you running the same release as me?

Code:

- Install NOD32

- During installation Push "Set update parameters later".

- Dont`t reboot when installation complete.

- Install NOD32 FiX v2.2

- Don't restart PC.

- Go to the installation folder of NOD32, usually C:\Program Files\Eset, you will see nod32fix.reg (It's a registry entry for NOD32).

- Click nod32fix.reg. It will ask you whether you wanna add the entry, just click on yes then click on OK.

- Now Restart your PC.

- Now you have the unlimited version of NOD32.

Is there a release name for the new version or is it non-scene?

That explains some. ESET.NOD32.v2.70.23.WinNT2K2K3XP.Cracked-FYN includes the 2.1 fix instead of the 2.2... :\

BushDoctor, I have the same release.

but i can not get any version to update.

Any time I tell it to update, it just asks for a user name and password.
I am trying the 27032 version now with the NOD32.FIX.v2.2-nsane and it won't update.

Im a stupid ass... I am trying to figure out what the nod update viewer is for.
That may be my problem. If anyone could give me any tips, would be appreciated.

That's strange, I'm running exactly the same as you are and I'm updating without a problem. Try to uninstall nod32 and nod32fix 2.2 and check that you don't got any older nod32fix installed, if so uninstall that also.

Then install Nod32 2.70.32 from Eset's homepage and remember to check "set update parlameters later" during the install. After the install do not reboot just install the nod32fix 2.2 and then reboot, it should work now!

If you already done that, then I don't know what's wrong.. Maybe some old nod32, nodfix data is still in the registry.

Saw this comparison chart and was not too happy with NOD32 results. Didnt even get a Advanced+ rating. Not sure how reliable this site is-it looks so poorly made.

Is this a release? Or can I just get this update from the company site and apply fix?

Did that. Never updated. Had to go thru all this verification, email, and all. Remained at same version. Finally found .37 version somewhere else. Installed, works fine.
