Casino Royale 7/10 - better than all the Bond movies I have seen, but still not that great. For one, the movie blows the most spectacular action scene away in the beginning and reveals the main bad guy at the same time (too early), leaving the rest of the movie pumping away on a slow pulse.

I liked the Vesper character, but I don't really fancy Eva Green. Was funny seeing Tobias Menzies not playing Brutus, though. Very Happy

Agree but 7/10 due to a lack of "dr cox" and the slight child orientation.

I think some movies he makes are pretty good, while other just cannot stand the aging process.

Born on the Fourth of July and especially Nixon I think is great. Platoon is an ok Vietnam war movie, but it doesn't quite reach up to the others and the ending is a joke.

I'm sure Natural Born Killers had a profound impact on society back then, but for me it is more of an absurd comedy.

No not quite. His vietnam trilogy is considered one of the best interpenetations of fighting in Vietnam ofc it doesnt beat Apocalypse Now.

Overrated movie imo - only good thing is the helicopter attack, the last 30-40 minutes of the movie is just way to boring.
