Its something in the 2000 series. The 2700 runs at 2.17. Seems people instead of upgrading to a whole new socket max out that socket with the XP 3000+. The core tech. used int eh 3000+ was used in the Athalon 64 when it was first released.
The clock speeds were very simular to the 2700 but the modified the L1/L2 cache which gave it quite the boost in performance. Still around 100+ bucks if you find it new.
