I will be making a purchase today so if anyone has any comments or suggestions, please tell me. My main concern is the memory. Memory has changed so much since my last system build (over 3 years ago) that I'm not sure about the memory I have picked out.

Heres the goods with links:
Case:

Mobo:

Graphics card (1):

PSU:

CPU:

Memory:

Hard Drive:

Monitor:

(I chose the Samsung because I have read the color reproduction is better on it than the Dell counterpart. I do a lot of digital art for a living and need the best picture. If anyone has used one for gamming, I'd like to hear about it)

Sound Card:

CPU Coler:

The only thing I disagree on is the HD, PSU and memory (never delt with corsair so ignore that opinion)

Harddrives im a WD Fanboy but I've heard segate has gotten better but I'll still keep my thoughts on WD.

Power supplies I don't beleive any other company anymore due to the lot of them rating their PSU power at 0c, when they heat up, guess how much power your losing, I refuse to buy from any other than Pc Power & Cooling, if you got the money their def the best. Memory I only use Kingstong HyperX or OCZ, but their not the only good ones, just the ones I used.

That zalman cooler is one of the best, anything from zalman will make it worth it's money.

The Tuniq Tower is a different league from that Zalman. I know, had that same Zalman 9500, and I have the Tuniq Tower.

Tuniq or Scythe (Ninja) is my bet, be carefull to check that it fits with your case etc, had some slight probs with my Ninja, the base plate caught some stuff on the Mobo (EVGA 680i) so i had to file some metal away to make it fit, 5 min job but. Yep i am a big WD fan boy to...Raptors if you can afford it Wink

Geez... I switched to the Tuniq... I am wondering just how hard of a time I am going to have installing that thing though. Any tips?

I cant imagine I would have space issues in that case... dunno about the MOBO though.

LEO: what mobo are you using that Tuniq on? Didnt you say you were running the EVGA 680i board?

I'm using 680i, yes. No problem with the mobo or case. It is hard to screw the bolts with that HUGE (and I mean HUGE) thing in there, but nothing too serious.

Does it somehow mount to the Mobo holding plate? I can't imagine the mobo itself supporting that brick by itself.

Well, there's somthing yuo have to but on the back side of the mobo, and then you screw the Tower on it and that's it. Mobo holds it just fine.

yeah im reading a guide I found about it right now. Hehe. It looks like if you bumped the tower hard enough, the board would just break away from the plate.

The Tuniq has been defeated by 2 new heatsinks, I'm to lazy to link to the review's. I might do it later.

And yes with a heatsink that heavy a mobo backplate is required and is part of the installation.
