But in the past on rare occasions groups have *Delayed* the release for some games.. simply so people can buy it...

ofcourse they arent holiding back.
releasing is a race between groups, every group wants to be first. so if your holding back on a release you might have done all that cracking for no reason since some other group might release it before you, which would most likley happen.
groups dont work together.
had been nice if they did but they dont.

Sadly i cant remember what games it was.. but i can remember it HAS happened..

Most of us are going to buy (or have already preordered) the game, right? It's definitely worth it, from the looks of things. It's one of those few games that actually deserves money.

I think the groups are having a laugh reading our aggony and all the ppl bitching about the game not being released yet.
I bet they sit in their Dr. Evil lair, laughing like Dr. Evil with their pinckifinger close to their mouth, muhahahhahah..... muhahahah.... muhhaha.... muhaha.....

I don't much care for Armies of Exigo after playing the demo. The game's graphics look pretty good (almost as good as WH40k) but from the demo it seems like the game is just a 'faster' version of Warcraft 3, without the cartoony graphics. I don't really know what to make of it, but the demo felt way too hectic. Will have to try out the retail before making any judgements, I suppose - but it's not something I'm anticipating. |
i'm in the fileplanet beta, its a really good game, i too hated the demo, its fast tough, but unlike warcraft its serious and it has much more units total, and it IS possible to have those 3-4h games against a really good opponent, it gave me a true Starcraft feeling the first time i played a multiplayer battle, really good potential there if you like starcraft type games.
