Haha bastard Razz.

Anyway, maybe you can help me out with something, or anyone else.
I am trying to run the game, I mount it with D-Tools 4.08HE, then I cloak it with YASU 1.1 (build 7033) and I start up the game. Screen goes black as it should do, then it crashed. Unexpectedly closed down.

Can anyone please help me out?

It seems it crashes when trying to play the videos. It is a good idea to install a codec pack. I like k-lite, but many people find it's "bloated". Decide for yourself ...

This game is for me all it was said to be. The graphics is just stunning on my rig STUNNING!. A lot of the icons takes a bit of getting used to compared to SH3, but the functions are more or less the same. Still a bit confused regarding the crew management screen, will check it out some more NOW!

Well, I do but I don't see anything fancy there Sad

Mouse pad, picture cards, pins, coins, a pen and a notepad.. Recognition manual without the side and front view is next to useless.. About the only thing worth having is the documentary.

If only they gave a more useful recognition manual (e.g. like the one in SH3) and a printed manual, that would be great. The way as it is, I think I'll get the regular edition. Damn, such collecter's editions are become very rare and for simulations they're almost extinct but I just feel this is a wasted opportunity.

I know how you feel. But the tin box is excellent for taking sandwiches to work which is a big plus for me. I tried them plastic DVD boxes but it didn't work.. had to bring the Lord of the Rings Extended Special Exclusive DVD Edition just to fit all my sandwiches in.

Can anyone tell me what's up with the no anti-aliasing whatsoever? It doesn't look really good without it.. I mean it still looks good but not nearly as good as when you get a clear, sharp picture..

I tried enforcing it with my graphics card's drivers, but I see no change.. I have a GeForce 7800GT if that's important.

I have alcohol 120% installed and used yasu to cloak the drives and the game worked fine. It doesn't matter either way for me because I will be buying this game this week once its out in store. My main reason is to play multiplayer with friends and for that you need cd key:)

Just finished playing the Tokyo Photo Mission. The Graphics is stunning to say the least. U see the algae and stuff floating around when in cam mode under water. Some stuff is a bit buggy but, for example does the sound not change when you go underwater, its still slashing around like you where on the surface. I also don't see the point of the main control room, you cant click any of the maps and stuff like you could in SH3, maybe again a bug.

CaptainCox, I experience some annoying stuff myself. First of all, there not being any anti-aliasing whatsoever, neither able to enforce it in driver settings.

Secondly, when I am standing on the bridge looking straightforward, I don't hear the engine, when I turn around I hear it, and when I am looking straightbackward I can't hear it anymore.
Think it has to do with Dolby Surround but I see no options for it in-game.

Also, when I have everything on highest it sometimes is a bit shocky, this isn't a bug ofcourse or anything, but I just wondered what I should turn of for special effects to get rid of this. If I disable everything then it's gone but when everything's enabled it's back. I thought maybe you or someone else knows.

Sorry for the long read and thanks for reading it!

I wish I had such a use for tin boxes. Then I could get the ArmA European "Collector's Edition". You just get the tin box, if I understood correctly.

Those Czech and German Collector's Editions are great but I don't want all that stuff in Czech or German :/

heh, if you can't handle it or it really doesn't work for whatever reason, lower the realism and let the game do it for you, at least for now.

I refuse. Would turn it to a point/click/hit scenario. Would be no fun at all whatsoever Sad

Its pissing me off though, either I am extremely stupid or its busted. How such an important feature like this could not work is beyond me. I've reread the manual multiple times, tried it a few times using both the manuals word for word description as well as a few ideas of my own and still nothing Sad 0 speed on the dial.

Also, the position keeper doesn't automatically turn itself on like it should after you've input the data. That, combined with the fact there is no way to automatically select SALVOs like in SH3 makes it a royal pain in the ass. Basically you have to PRESET each tube to the same config if you want to fire a salvo, and doing this 2 or 3 times is just ugh.

Haven't been able to force AA through Nvidia panel either. Grr the frustration.

Also, the little box in which all your important messages pop up - while it lets you move it - no matter where you put it its in the way of something. There's no good spot for it. This new interface isn't at all economical. I want the old one back.

Got the same problem here :\

The chronometer not working is gamebreaking for me. I will never lower the realism, half of the fun of sinking a ship is working out the correct torpedosolution first.
