I am not complaining and lots of other people aren't, so saying everyone is simply not true.

What the hell? Just restart a race. Go into pause mode (keyboard P) and restart. |
omg lol, i didnt know that
only keys i use are M and ESC
the rest are on my controller
damn, thank you |
It's a good idea to check and configure key bindings before you start playing a new game, ya know...

Supposedly a more sim-like mode of driving, although it's been described by sim-racers as a low-gravity-and-nothing-to-do-with-simulation mode.

hahaha! You must really have no idea what you are doing to have to re-install Windows after uninstalling a game.
BTW - Still playing this game non-stop and it's heaps fun. Will be buying it shortly so I can play online, as I can imagine the gameplay will be so much more diverse with other online players driving around. Only thing I am worried about is that because I am in Australia, I am not sure whether there will be many servers I can join with a decent player count.
Anyone bought this and can comment?

Think of TDU as one huge server, with players from all over the planet... so basically, no uk servers, aussie servers, french servers etc...

Before you start bashing other users too, stop living under a rock. Oh, wait, you asked a question that's been answered too. What do you know?
But I'm nice enough, so here you go.
First of all, the uninstall issue seems to still be there. It was in the BETA, it's still there. The uninstaller of the game deletes vital system files from the root of your C: drive, such as boot.ini, making your system unbootable unless you have access to some other OS and can recreate a boot.ini file yourself as well as re-download all vital files that are missing. So next time, try not to be so harsh on other users while not knowing the facts, mmkay?
@ZOLLINO: EDEN/ATARI are no saints. Those "people who dedicated last several years to make this game real" still haven't released a patch to fix bugs that were feedbacked to them several times during both beta periods, didn't fix the CRUCIAL uninstaller issue (why not try to uninstall the game yourself and see if you can reboot your computer?) that was THERE in the BETA. So quit your bashing as well. m00nb0y is just a regular gamer who decided to uninstall the game and got fucked by an issue that shouldn't be there in an end product for ANY reason. I didn't see any big sticker saying "DO NOT UNINSTALL WITHOUT CONTACTING ATARI SUPPORT FIRST" and neither did he. Check your facts next time before you get so hurt over people complaining with reason about your favorite game and hard-working programmers.
Second of all, there are no separate servers. You don't get the option to join the one you want, the game connects via Gamespy to the main server that is usually populated with over 2 thousand people. After UK and US release I'm guessing that number is even higher, but I haven't played in a few days due to my heavy schedule so I wouldn't know the exact number.
So there you have it.

err so is there a safe way to uninstall this game without uninstalling win xp? cause TDU started to piss me off cause this is the only game that have some graphic issues on my rig and i have enough of it :/ i hope some patch comes out but as for now i wanna get rid of it... burn baby burn !
what probs? imagine that when i start game i have arts and graphs abnormalities i have then to quit and start game again and then everything is fine... also sometimes it restarts my pc and does some weird shit... apart from fact that this game is really neat those bugs are most retarted stuff i ever saw... including deleting boot.ini what a retarted game :/
