well I can say this movie may lack the plot, but everything else is in there every single second of the movie.
this movie may not even be nominated for any oscar, but one thing is for sure, it's one hell of a ride and experience.
when watching it, I felt a growing desire of being there and fight for sparta or whatever, one only wants to grab a shield and a spear and slaughter as many as he can.
it's a different type of movie, but it's one hell of a good one, the only scenes that I didn't like where the ones about the counsil and the queen. this movie should have been entirely about the battle. |
the same was with gladiator and they gave it a Oscar  |

Not really, Gladiator had all those things Ronhrin mentioned.

Great movie 8.5/10 i give it
Love the battles.
And indeed the counsil and queen thing was a bit boring but still good.
Best movie this year so far
A must see.

Actually the movie is around 2 hrs. Its pacing is just so good that it feels much less.

300 PROPER TS xVID-LRC release just pisses me off hehe, when you watch it all u see is the guy moving the camrea around, zooming in and out, he must of covered the camrea and forgot that on the side of the camera the picture is half gone from what ever he covered it up with. Gonna wait till a R5 comes out.

anyone post runtime/details on the workprint? does it contain additional extended footage or is it essentially the same as the theatrical but with missing/different music and cgi?
