Why is it so damn fun? Do I really have nothing better to do? I could be playing STALKER, but instead I'm defragging my hdd, and 50% of the time I'm staring at the defrag screen...Always liked to do so, almost cried when the removed the win 98 defragmenter progress display, and replaced it with a crappy status bar in XP.

See, and I'm sorry I wasted time visiting this thread. It's just a matter of taste, really.

Tried it, it's crap, with even crappier moving algorithms, and pretty much every other defragmenter. Took me a while to find it but this one just seems to be the best one. It's lightweight, it doesn't lag my harddrive so that I can't to anything while it's defragmenting like others do. It's faster with analyzing and moving than any other I tried aswell.

perfectdisk lags when you do smartplacement - it moves all the small sectors to one corner and big to another.
