There's nothing to get my man. I don't cater to their lame-ass attempts at creating nfos or their pre-pubescent gay-jokes.

1. they dont want nfo's posted hence the material of their nfo's see point 3
2. they dont want their releases on public 2P2 networks hence the material of the nfo see point 3
should i draw a diagram of that for you or do you think ull manage from here ?
3. the material of their nfo's makes peeps not want to post em or make torrents of em
you didnt do too well in school did you ?
"the scene" has never been about nfo sites or p2p networks and still isnt most groups hate it cause of the publicity it drags with it
"the scene" is supposed to be for a select few not the entire globe
jesus if i have to explain anymore ill shove a cpu up your ass and connect you to the city's main powerline

I honestly don't give a fuck about procyon, much less what your opinion is of them.

Thankfully there's a corollary to rule 3...
3a. People with some actual intelligence (read: not Procyon) just remove their lame shit from the nfo and then post the release to usenet.
If they think that making retarded nfos is going to stop their releases from spreading to places they don't approve of then they are even dumber than the nfos make them seem.
Game seems very cool, especially the way you manipulate the environment with the mouse, but I got a bitch of a headache too by the time I reached the area with the storage room and office and stopped playing there. Definitely going to ignore their recommendation of playing it in the dark next time I give it a go.
I couldn't figure out how to move the box in the storage room either.

If you mean the box that I think you mean, there are stones inside the box that you have to take out, then you can move the box itself.

Can anyone help me?
I'm at the bit with Sector C, the Refinery and Shafts 12@13.
Sector C needs a code for the door. The Refinery is locked.
I've been in Shafts 12&13, I've collected a blank note (thats the only think I can think of). I've been in the room with the UV light and the stuff written on the walls - only found a note in there.
Anyone able to direct me where to go next?
Thanks.

How about discussing the game here and stopping the flamewar about Nfos..?
I love this game, the puzzles are so intelligent and challenging. For example that morse code thingy, I sat down with a piece of paper and manually decrypted the message. This is great fun.

Guys im stuck
i blew the entrance that block the path...now im in the POWER room and i need (i guess) a batteries to some kind control deck that need to give me electricity(again i guess) to the generator...
and i dont know where to find them + there are somekind metal boxs that i dunno how to open them...also i figured out the Morse code but no use for it right now...anyone this far? Smile
btw Amazing game! |
Here are some hints:
- You need a battery and a fuse
- The battery is inside the box, find a way to break it
- The fuse is on a high place, but luckily someone left behind his broom..
- To get the generator running, you should read the manual carefully.
For those having problems with the morse puzzle:
The code is: ..... --... ...-- ---..
Solutions:
Spoiler: |
Break the box by pushing it into the hole. Climb down and get the battery.
The fuse on top of the shelf in the small room with the empty fusebox.
Decrypted morse code: 5738
Generator valve sequence: II (secondary valve) - ~~ (horizontal waves) - || (vertical waves) - O (drop) - I (primary valve)

Totally agree with you. The puzzles are pretty good, and the whole atmosphere is so scary and dark. I really like this game.

lequack: Top man!
I thought it was something like that. I'd been trying to use the note on the bulb on the roof, or use it on the wall. I didn't realise you could double click the thing in your inventory to use on itself.
Thanks!

I'm stuck. Any tips on where the string is for my fuse? I have the other thing, and I know what to do. I just don't have any string.
Just a little clue if you could, I hate asking, but i've wandered around and around and around and i'm not seeing it.
Amazing game. This is what i'd call next gen gameplay.

Dammit! The games too fucking creepy for me, got to the door where you hear the whispering on the other side and turned it off!
It's a shame because the graphics are great and the environmental interaction is refreshing.
I completed FEAR, Condemned and Call of Cthulu but the feeling of helplessness in this and complete lack of character interaction tips it over the edge for me. I play games to relieve stress, not create it!

Wait till you fight your first enemy. They really phoned in the enemy animation.
However, it's the atmosphere and just freaky noises that keep you on your toes. I really wish they kept the atmosphere and completely did away with enemies. How spooky would that be? Only problem is that it's ruined for 2nd and 3rd (and beyond) playthroughs.
I'm so pleased that this is episode 1. It means we've got more to come... yay.
Can I just put a little nudge onto the board for my question 3 posts up. Cheers guys.

If you remember the way to the electric fence, you come in a big door and then have to go through a normal door on the right.
Before you go through that door on the right, there is shelves on the left. One box contains string.

Real shame man your missing a great game. I am really surprised how fun this game is. I wasn't expecting something so refreshing from a small dev. Two thumbs up!
