|
 |
I know Widescreen movies are removed in some of the releases, but does that mean they were converted to Full Frame? I know a lot of the releases downgraded the quality of the videos. So I'm looking at IND, DJPelles original & reworked and Cheops widescreen release. Can someone please verify which releases have all the movies, cutscenes, in-game cutscenes, etc. in tact and works. I just want a copy that has all the movies and works, I don't care if it's in widescreen or full frame. Please help me.
Thanks

The game is originally in dvd-9, so having it in dvd-5 won't have anything in tact, it'll all be compressed or tampered with.

I'm asking which version has all the movies even if it was downgraded to lesser quality?

All those releases are good, with great vid quality.
The first Djpelle one does have a small error, a couple of the vids are linked wrong, so the wrong cutscene plays at least in one scene... hence the reworked one.
All the vid files are all there in all those releases but obviously only 1 set, either normal or widescreen... not both. For the normal screen versions the WS vids are relinked to the normal ones and for the WS one visa versa.
I have been playing the IND release and it's perfect, I cannot even tell the vids are downsampled.
edit.. don't get the hydro version, it crashes half way through and has really bad quality vids.
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

What about the God of War II called gow2 dvd5 no ds.
His nfo says:
Version with no downsampling!
Removed widescreen and duplicate files.
Loading between cutscenes may be a little longer then on an other rip because of
the relinking.
I have the original djpelle release and you are saying there is a small error. So which version do you recommend me to download? I just want the best quality DVD5 with all the movies, very little freezing and shorter load times. I don't care if it is widescreen or full frame as long as I have all the movies.
Thanks

I'm still debating between burning djpelle's re-work which is 72% quality and Ind which is 70%. I prefer full frame since my tv isn't widescreen. My gut says go with IND b/c I think they are a group and djpelle is just some person who rips it himself and then uploads it. Did you notice any problems with your IND release yet?

IND is not a group, IND is usually also just a person.

So which one is usually more reliable, Djpelle or IND?

I have already burnt DJpelle's rework and deleted all my other files. So far so good. I prefer full frame as I don't have a widescreen tv yet.

I finally decided to actually play my copy of God of War II, Djpelle reworked release. There seems to be some weird glitch after I got stomped by the hand of Zeus where I can't move around at all. Can someone please tell me if they are having the same problem?

i can't get him to move at all. All I can do is press buttons and he moves his chains. When I move him to walk it doesn't walk even a little.
