Are you the same idiot who kept going on about the Armed Assault promo's not being real in-game screenshots because if you were then; please shut up as you were proven wrong on that count.

The video of the next GTA is what we will be playing, no question at all. Gameplay wise we're yet to see anything in that regard but it's GTA so expect GTA (every single GTA from the 2D versions to the 3D play exactly the same).

Lol, I'm the same idiot that turned out to be right about ArmA, NFS Carbon and many other titles.

And that vid certainly isn't what we will be playing. It's quite possible that it will be this PLUS much more, but not what we see now.

You weren't proven right at all. You were proven wrong. Those screenshots of Armed Assault are running on my PC as we speak. And yes, this is GTA, and yes this is what we will be playing - that's a cutscene like any other GTA cutscene made within the games engine. FACT. So please don't go on another of your long diatribes about how this isn't real and so on... because you clearly don't know what your talking about when it comes to developers like Rockstar and Bohemia.

Nobody says they're lying. It's totally normal to release a promo vid that sets the mood. It's not BAD. I bet the gameplay vids will be much better.

But just cause the trailer isn't in third person view, like the game is played, doesn't mean it's not 'in-game real-time gameplay' or how the game actually looks.

Think of in-game cutscenes...

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

its real ingame graphics just to let you know!

Wow, we have Sam Houser on the forum! Welcome, dude. Care for an interview?

for sure!

Rockstar has stated that all the trailer's footage is generated real-time by the game's engine RAGE, running on an actual game console, and was not pre-rendered.The footage has not been confirmed to be running on the Xbox 360 or the PS3

While the trailers looks good, if it was pre-prerendered I would assume it would look much better than that. My best GUESS is that it is in-game engine.

When we asked Rockstar Games for a clarification, a spokesman told TeamXbox: "We would like to let the trailer speak for itself. However, we can confirm that all footage in the trailer "Things Will Be Different" was captured directly from 720p gameplay running real-time in our RAGE engine on a next-gen gaming console."

Well, we are indeed in 2007, but many companies still showcase their games with pre-rendered movies and manipulated screenshots.

what he said, plus, i don't see what's the big fuss about it. with games like Gears of War on the 360 and Crysis right around the corner, why is it so hard to believe that the video is in real time?

and the link with the guy from behind enemy line, is dead on. it's the sammme guy.

Yes, good point, but you can easily make an entire city in UE3.

You can tell it is ingame video because of the shadows flickering. Still, it looks really sweet. Let's hope they optimize it for the PC like San Andreas.

Yeah but not at the same frame rates. If you have a city with GOW's detail it would have to be devoid of life for it to run acceptably. I'm sure GTA4's cities will be packed.

Awww what wrong? Don't have a console?

It's ok, wait a year after it's release and you might get to play it if you're lucky. Rolling Eyes

From what I've seen from the trailer, GTA4 doesn't come close to GOW's details either. I never said it has to be at the same level of details, just better than what was shown in the trailer.

He's right though, there's no question it's ingame just by looking at it.
