Just wondering: what happened to the bonus disc? The Kane Edition should have one, but the rls groups seem to be ignorant or something? They should release the products as intact as possible, otherwise I'd consider it a rip.

the bonus disc is lame and has no impact on the game. thats why they didnt release it with the game. its corny like those nfs "bonus" discs, some lame making of crap. and it woudnt be a rip because the game itself is completley intact. wanna moan aboutno bunus disc? buy it.

OK, how the fuck are you supposed to deal with the scrin air-attacks? They come in with these ships that can attack outside my AA-guns range, and take everything out. Pisses me off. I placed 12 AA-guns in a single line, and they just won't fire at the scrin "air artillery"-unit. Annoying as fuck.


I also think fisk should be unbanned.

I Hate scrin (or scrim, dont remember the name =p), damn those hordes of i dont know wtf is that, shadows, or something like that, damn they could kill a tank or a rifleman squad in a second!
the only thing i do to stop the air attacks is an EMP pulse at their airfield Very Happy

The best way to defend against Scrin air attacks is with Firehawks. I usually have 4 airfields/16 firehawks - send them to intercept Scrin air units with missiles, and bomb the piss out of the enemy base in their spare time Smile

P.S. If you're NOD I don't know, haven't started their campaign yet.

Dunno if you played the game yet, but the single player campaign's cutscenes are uber lame and boring, just not in the vein of the original Command & Conquer (Tiberian Dawn).

I just figure the bonus disc with outtakes and bloopers might right this wrong a little bit. Besides, it should offer:
# Strategy videos from the game developers, deleted scenes, a blooper reel, and the "Behind the Lines" making-of video.
# Exclusive art and desktop wallpapers.

CHecking out that Making-Of might be interesting too, not to mention the strategy videos: they might be *required* to play the game properly, seeing:
-Commandos get killed instantly by some units.
-AA guns have no proper effect on the Scrinn.
-Harvesters get stuck occasionally.
-Reinforcements carriers fail to drop reinforcements.
-Orcas are highly ineffective and way too expensive.
-Units in general are stupid, rolling in to the enemy's line of fire without reason.

Perhaps the strategy thingies can help a bit.

- yeah, the commandos should be effective against walkers... but especially the NOD one... almost never have even the chance to approach them..

- sometimes the carryall forget to drop the reinforcements and their are just sitting there with the full pods Smile

i kinda disagree about the AA and the scrins.. 3 Nod AA can hold almost any air attack Very Happy


just to ask what's the size of the bonus disc, cuz i saw one 700mb?

class game been on this for ages now still on the 1st gdi campaign im on the italian mission just after the rome level getting very hard now.
i hope the nod campaign is as good as this gdi campaign with different maps and cut scenes?

weelll, imo, the Nod campaign is a LOT more fun. The missions are way more interesting, diverse and variable, the movies are much better thanks to "Sawyer", Kane and blondie Smile. Some of the maps are the same (quite few) with different goals, and in some of the movies are shown part of the GDI movies.. but it's not a big deal Smile

edit: i got constant crashing (send/don't send shit) on 2nd scrinn map with 1.03 even with the fix, anyone else got it? Sad

so, after completing all 3 faction's missions can i conclude that scrin has been defeated for now, one last scrin tower remains (which is captured by kane?) and the scrin will reinvade earth someday?
