doesnt matter as long as its released, you guys have to understand that the scene changes and new groups emerge that arent as big as some of the old timers and this more safe.

who cares if it's a clonecd version. i'm sick of all these noobs complaining about clonecd releases. Big deal, install alcohol, mount play. That's what i do anyway with all other releases. Plus, it's so much easier to install updates and patches onto clonecd games than it is on cracked games.

I meant no disrespect to the group CloneCD, sagaboy5. I apprechiate
their effort made in bringing us a good release of this _highly_
anticipated game.
I just in my infamous youth and boyish good looks failed to see the
cloneCD posted on top as the posting of release-group and more like
a posting of format for the release.
Now for the Legio Astartes to burn the Carthagians.

the scene is not about distroing easy releases to the mass public so they can play this and that game for free... its about achieving masters in reverse engineering and showing you can do better than a simple point-click-pre program..
now ive never had anything against the guys in CLONECD - but theres really no glory in clone releases..

I don't think they're in it for the glory. In fact, there's not many who are (though they certainly do exist). I'm not naive to think that they're in it for altruistic purposes, either. Most of the CloneCD releases, like plenty of cracked releases find their way to shops in Eastern Europe and South East Asia and are sold for roughly 3-4 US dollars each. I'm sure someone's getting a cut.
It's all about sales, not glory. If you can make a few dollars dollar out of selling a burned copy of a game, it's still better than not making any money at all. It's not just SE Asia and Eastern Europe, either. You can find people doing it in the states and in the UK as well, usually at clubs or outside of school grounds.
