How can they tell if it's a backup or not?  Besides, firmware hack will probably bypass that anyway.

I believe they can, I just don't know if they care as it's only a select group of people who are capable of running backups  |

Do you think they'ld ever do anything sneaky, like when a big game like halo 3 is released, leak a region free version a few weeks early that's tagged in some way. Leave it a fair few months for the version to permeate then bingo you've got your pirates?

Microsoft wont do anything about blocking the firmware whats the point? It's been over a year since it was created and i would of thought Microsoft would of blocked it by now.
