Man that seriously blows. I just bought a new 360 (arriving tommorrow) after my first one developed the 3 RLOD just for GH2 and now this shite crop's up. I think i might return my copy of GH2 tommorrow. I'd rather have a working 360 that plays all my games then praying this one doesn't brick everytime i throw the strap over my shoulder.
Next generation my arse, now i remember why i love pc gaming.

Well i couldn't resist playing it. Though it seems to be working perfect, i didn't run the whammy bar fix update, but the bar seems fine without it. I played it for 2 hours no probs and then tried some other games, no problems with those either. Guess GH2 is just picking on a select few 360's....possibly launch systems?

Does it matter if you have hacked firmware or not?

It's an online update. But judging by the Xbox forums link it seems the game makes your 360 behave strangely even without the patch. I would stay clear of the game completely.

Maybe that's another example.

yes that was me!!! The game wouldnt read on the old firmware. On a suggestion I tried the 5.2 version and now it works fine. No other game showed this behavior and I have pretty much every game released for the 360. I also had the box freezelast night when signing into xbox live from inside the game.
