Fuck that overrated pile of shit game. This port is nothing more than a desperate attempt from Microsoft to hype Vista. It looks like shit and plays like shit.

I never understood all the hype about Halo...
The games are quite good and fun, but they aren't even close to any of the best FPS out there...

The popularity was due to Halo1/2 being the one and only awesome MULTIPLAYER fps on Xbox. No one really gave a damn about SP.

Stupid comment. Lots of people give a damn about SP, including me. I prefer story-based play over jumping around trying to shoot a 13 yr old.
Movie-style play is much more my taste and there are others like me.

I too enjoyed the Single Player of the first one, although I'll agree it isn't the greatest FPS ever made, but off of that topic:
Is there anything preventing this game from being cracked to work on Xp?

Halo on the PC was a disaster, it didn't work and came five years too late but I do remember being genuinely excited about it when it was first announced.

Agreee 100%. Black rulez, Halo sucks.
But people are stupid, and thus Halo got hyped and cheered.
Look at Xlink Kai (program to play online on a chipped xbox); there's a million great games that suits online gaming perfect, still there's 400 people playing Halo 1&2 online, and 50 players spread over all other games.
Retards... They wouldn't know a good game if it crawled up their asses.

Actually I hate Halo MP, lol, I only play it because the co-op is amazing amounts of fun.
Halo is AWESOME. I love the games.

Halo 1/2 is famous because is so fuckin fun to play, and its obviously that there are a lot of PC fps more good than Halo 1/2 but Halo is the most amazing fps on consoles, so stop bitchin on him

I personally hated the hype for halo but I like MS and their games. They usually throw out some decent games that hardly require patching or at least for consoles can be fun. Again I didn't like halo too much but I gotta admit, playing the MP on lan was alot of fun.

I wonder if this will get some sort of OS fix like Doom3 got from TNT. Hopefully it will atleast since this gotta be one of the worst reasons ever to upgrade to Vista.

I for one cant wait.. played the Halo 2 mod on pc for a while >_< This is gona be the shizzle
Besides someone is probably gona haxor the thingy so u can play it with xp.
