You need Windows 2003 SP1 but anyway .bin is 'bad' (proper is just stolen with same problems) and you need Ultraiso to extract and install

how i got it to run on w2k3; (nicked from adobe forums)
just uncheck all the other 'tests' or the installer will crash
i had to also do a repair install after the initial install as it had "failed", and now it appears to work fine

has anyone else had a problem with this being the normal and not extended edition? I notice the 3D options (Layers > 3D Layers and direct 3D format opening) are not present when I installed the SWAMP version...
could it be because I had a non-extended version installed before and the new install needs a serial update to work? the fucking deactivate option doesnt work so i cant test it, and uninstall doesnt remove the serial ... suucks

i just got done trying the CS3 cleaner that comes with the release ... it still doesn't work .. i don't think this is the extended version-- ah well i guess i'll wait till someone has luck with another rls

weird because im using the original EXE ... what happened was i installed the SWAMP release, nuked it and its directory (which kept serial and activation stored) and reinstalled from scratch-- so the new install uses the original EXE and still registers as Standard-- I'm guessing the problem lies in the stored serial being for std. edition ...
hopefully its sorted soon so i can check out 3d texturing .. it looks bad assed
[EDIT]
the pimpdog extended patch seems to work .. although i usually dont like cracks over serials, id rather have the 3d options assuming this works 100% (which it seems to, assuming the slow ass load times for large models are an Adobe flaw)

I had no problems getting Extended with the swamp release on it's own.
1. Install
2. Run in trial mode, exit.
3. copy photoshop.exe to install directory and relaunch (no need to use the included serial key).
The extended photoshop menu is now available.
I'd rather have the same type of keygen that was available with cs2, but until then these cracks are getting the job done.
So far, Photoshop/Extended, Fireworks, Flash, and Dreamweaver are out.. Hopefully soon illustrator will come along, as well as the collection packs (web, design, master, etc..).

Confirmed.
For the people that downloaded the SWAMP release, just download the rar that contains the keygen. Then copy the original .exe back over the cracked .exe. Start Photoshop, use a serial from the SSG keygen and you don't even have to activate ^^
